About me

Hi, I'm Lauren. I help small business owners streamline their processes so they can spend more time doing what they do best.

After more than a decade working in universities, from working with research systems and databases to creating websites, I decided to strike out on my own and use my skills to support purpose-led business owners.

I'm curious by nature and love learning. I love analysing problems and coming up with efficient solutions, focusing on opportunities to integrate the tools you're currently using and automate repetitive tasks.

When I’m not at my laptop you may find me making things with fabric or yarn (mostly clothes, sometimes quilts), heading out for a bushwalk or relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book.

Processes

  • Setting up a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
  • Using Make or Zapier to connect the tools you already use and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Analysing, documenting and streamlining processes - taking the mental load off so you don't have to remember all the steps of a process each time, you can just do it (or delegate to someone else with ease).

Websites

  • Creating websites on platforms such as Squarespace and Kajabi.
  • Website audits, advising on best practices.
  • Connecting other services such as Google Analytics.
  • Making content updates or helping you to learn the platform so you can make them more easily yourself.

Tasks

  • Setting up a task management tool (I like Asana but can work with what you use).
  • Helping you use your task or project management tool effectively.
  • Inbox management strategies.

Everything else

  • Document creation, formatting, editing and proofreading.
  • Electronic file management.
  • Setting up an email marketing system.
